Why I’m No Longer Offering a Magic Act

(Albuquerque, NM) — As a business owner in a creative field, I am acutely aware that innovation and new ideas are demanded in order to keep a business moving forward. Five years ago we began a journey of creativity and development that has brought me to this point. As Conjurer Fortune Machine grew in popularity across the country, I made it my goal to use Conjurer to put the magic show out of business.

Today I can report, that has officially been accomplished. The magic show for both fairs and corporate events is no more.

The lone exception will be magic shows for the Nathan’s Gift program.

So why has this happened?

Gary Vaynerchuk has said that, “the thing that gets you here is almost never the thing that gets you to the next place.” My debut in the fair industry as a magician was at the 2004 Nevada State Fair. The show got me my start in the industry. It got me booked at the Puyallup Fair and Biloxi Summer Fair in my first year exhibiting at IAFE.

However, real long term growth and sustainability requires new things. Conjurer now dominates the annual tour having appeared at:

  • South Florida Fair
  • Osceola County Fair
  • Sarasota County Fair
  • Yuma County Fair
  • Verde Valley Fair
  • OC Fair
  • Nebraska State Fair
  • New Mexico State Fair
  • Big Fresno Fair

That’s just 2017 alone.

I’m so grateful that the love I had for this magic hobby as a kid became one of the many stepping stones on this journey.

Over website will be updated over the coming days to reflect this change.

Thank you all for your support and friendship in my career. Love you guys.
